History

The Fraser Valley Employment and Support Services Co-operative was formed by four Member agencies in 2010 to deliver employability services in the Fraser Valley. The agencies have worked together for many years and saw the benefits of creating a united partnership. Each of the agencies has extensive experience in serving their communities.

  • Mission Community Skills Centre Society was incorporated as a non-profit society in 1995 to provide local employability programs and training.
  • Agassiz-Harrison Community Services Society has been in operation since 1976 to the people of Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs and surrounding remote communities.
  • Win Resources Inc. was established in Chilliwack in 1987 to operate Chilliwack Employment Services providing employment-related services to more than 35,000 unemployed residents of Chilliwack and surrounding communities.
  • Based in Hope, Free Rein Associates Training Ltd. has developed and coordinated employability and administration services in the communities of Hope, Agassiz, Chilliwack, Merritt, Lillooett and Ashcroft since 1993.
