The Fraser Valley
Employment and Support Services Co-operative
consists of four Members, all well-established, community-based
employment and social service providers experienced in working with
Clients diverse in age, gender, ability, economic status, ethnicity and
barriers to employment or community attachment.

Mission Community
Skills Centre Society
was incorporated as a non-profit society in 1995 to provide local
employability programs and training for general and Specialized
Populations. It currently has facilities and offers services in the
communities of Mission, Abbotsford, Langley, Hope and Chilliwack, with
itinerant services in Aldergrove and Maple Ridge.

Agassiz-Harrison
Community Services Society
has been in operation since 1976. Today, it is a non-profit,
multi-service agency that provides over 20 different services and
programs – including comprehensive employment services – to the people
of Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs surrounding remote communities. The
Society currently operates an Employment Services Centre with case
management, case managed services, self-employment services and
training for general and Specialized Populations.

Win Resources Inc. was
established in 1987 to serve the people of Chilliwack and surrounding
communities through Chilliwack Employment
Services. It has provided Client-centred,
employment-related services to over 40,000 unemployed and
under-employed residents, including case management, case-managed
services and training for general and Specialized Populations.

Free Rein
Associates
Training Ltd. has developed and coordinated employability and
administration services in the communities of Hope, Agassiz,
Chilliwack, Merritt, Lillooett and Ashcroft since 1993. It currently
operates the Workforce Employment Assistance Services Centre (an ESC),
with case management, case-managed services, self-employment
services and training for general and Specialized Populations. |
Together,
we offer a remarkable 72 years of experience in employment services and
have collectively served tens of thousands of Clients. We have
long-standing employer and community networks; we are deeply rooted in
our communities – we live where we work; and we thoroughly understand
our local and regional Labour Markets.
We
have successfully worked together informally for many years to provide
Client-centred, employment-related services to unemployed and
under-employed residents of the Fraser Valley, including case
management, case-managed services and training for general and
Specialized Populations. The Co-op allows us to even more effectively
deliver collaborative and integrated services. |
